With the heaviest of hearts, we say "so long" to the man we loved beyond measure. After fighting too many health issues for too many years—with the will of a champion and the heart of a lion—God called him home to leave all the pain behind and reunite with many of his favorite people who'd gone before. While facing tomorrow without him is unfathomable, we will carry his love forward forever. We are lost and long for one more hug, but we find comfort in knowing he found peace on Friday, March 7, 2025.
He is survived by his wife, Christine, their children, Tracy (Mike), Nick and Tony (Bonnie), and their grandchildren, Tyler, Deacon and Jack, along with countless family and friends he held dear. He passed away with Chris, his true love and best friend of 51 years by his side, leaving behind a legacy of strength and selflessness that will never fade. He taught us that family isn't just important—it's everything. As we face the world without him, his love is with us, inspiring us to live as he did ... with compassion and courage, patience and resilience, generosity and grit ... plus a whole lot of laughter.
Whichever name you knew him by: Jeff, AJ, Tony, Anthony Jeffrey, Jetsy, Dad, Grandpa, Mr. Ford or Coach, you likely knew the amazing man he was, the sacrifices he made and the many hats he proudly wore (in addition to the Brewers, Packers and Badgers). He considered himself a rich man, not because of the balance in his bank account but because of the people whose paths he crossed and the wealth of memories made together.
We hit the jackpot with him as the heart of our family. Life as we know it will never be the same. We love him to heaven and back. Until we meet again ...
