Annie Jewel Clark-Nunely, 77, passed away on home hospice December 5, 2022.
Annie was born on May 12, 1945, in Mt. Dora, Florida and moved to Milwaukee WI in 1946 with her parents. She attended several schools in the area which includes, Ninth Street School (1951), Fifth Street School (1954), North Division High (1959) and Lincoln High School (1961). She later attended Milwaukee Area Technical College where she earned a certificate in Nursing Assistance (1983) and Cooperative Urban Teacher Education Program (1991). While attending MATC she received the Leadership/Dedicated Service Award.
Annie earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Services in 1997 with a minor in Gerontology as well as her Master of Science in Education while majoring in Education Counseling with Emphasis in Community Counseling at the University of WI Oshkosh. While attending UMO, she received the Steve Kearney Scholarship Award as well as being on the honor roll.
Any and everyone who has ever known Annie, considered her a kind, happy and joyful person and a great friend. She will be greatly missed by family and friends alike; she was loved by all.
She is survived by her children, Timothy Nunely, Anthony Nunely, Dewayne Nunely, Elaine Nunely and Carla Nunley as well as many grandkids, great grandkids and great-great grandkids.
