Ann S. (Balistreri) Gehringer

((nee Balistreri) Born to life on July 1, 1928, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Salvatore and Gaetana Balistreri, Ann was born to eternal life on December 11, 2024, in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, at age 96 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Abraham Panosian and her second husband Frank X. Gehringer, and her three brothers Phillip Balistreri, Alex Balistreri and Anthony Balistreri.

Ann was the beloved mother of Walter Gehringer, and Bonnie (Tom) Klosiewski. Charlie Panosian, the late John Panosian, Mary Ann Rundle, Anthony (Geraldine) Panosian, and Kathie (Craig) Pearce, and stepmother of Sandra Gehringer, the late Ronald Gehringer, Carole Carrao and William Gehringer. She was the cherished grandmother of Amalia (Micah) Zelinski, Megan Klosiewski, Cody Klosiewski, Drew Pearce and Cameron Pearce and great-grandmother of Preston Zelinski and Chase Zelinski. She is further survived by her dear sister Frances Tripi, and other grandchildren, nieces and nephews relatives and friends.

Ann took great pride being raised in Milwaukee’s Third Ward, where her Italian heritage was celebrated. Her main position in life was as the bookkeeping office manager of her husband Frank’s business, Paragon Cutting Die Company. She actively practiced her catholic faith, still attending Three Holy Women Parish – St. Rita Church until her passing.

A memorial gathering will be held for Ann on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 9:30am until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am, all at Three Holy Women Parish – St. Rita Church, 1617 North Cass Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53202. Private burial Hildegard Cemetery in Conover, Wisconsin.
