Adrienne had an ideal childhood with her cherished parents and brother, and her special aunts, cousins and friends. Her parents owned and operated the Tosa Café when she was young. She graduated from Wauwatosa High School (renamed Wauwatosa East in the 1960s). Throughout her life, she worked at the Village Pump, Parente’s and Butler Inn restaurants, and in the office at A.O. Smith, Enerpac, and Mantel Machine. She worked at Grasch’s fine grocery store up until a month before she turned 80. She just liked being around people.
Adrienne was proud of her Greek heritage- se agapo forever Mom. She was smart, witty, and had a vibrant personality. She loved talking to people, anyone, anytime, anywhere. Adrienne grew the most beautiful roses. She liked watching the wildlife in her yard, especially the cardinals. Adrienne enjoyed cooking very delicious meals for her family, reading, playing the slots at Potawatomi, and watching Wheel of Fortune, PBS shows and mysteries. She loved her doggies. Adrienne enjoyed playing games and trivia, but her favorite thing was playing cards- poker, royal rummy, sheepshead, you name it, she loved to play it. We all grew up playing cards. Children as young as five played poker at the table alongside the adults, wagering coins. Adrienne had a joyous laugh and smile that we will remember forever.
We will always love you. Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day.
Private interment at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
