William McNamer Obituary

Age 81 years. Born to life in Milwaukee August 9, 1937 son of Everett and Olga McNamer. Born to eternal April 12, 2019 at Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee. Loving survived by Patricia McNamer, children: Lisa Cortez, Michael (Katherine) McNamer and Kevin (Patti) Schultz, and grandchildren: Patrick, Andrew and Lily. Brother of Roger (Mildred) McNamer, Dennis (Mary) McNamer and the late Janis (Dave) Hendrix. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Services with Military Honors Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at Southern Wisconsin Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 21731 Spring Street, Union Grove, Wisconsin.

Willie was a proud Marine who was a member of the 1st Marine Division and later was a member of the Red Arrow 32nd Division of the National Guard.

Mr. McNamer was a former longtime photojournalist at WISN Channel 12 in Milwaukee.
