Ursalean Sprewer

Ursalean (nee Jackson) Sprewer was born June 28, 1951, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Norma Jean Jackson and Alex Hortman. Ursalean found Christ at an early age and attended Parklawn Assembly of God Church until her passing. She was educated through the Milwaukee Public School System, where she graduated from North Division High School. Following high school, Ursalean worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant at various health care facilities. In addition to nursing, she was an entrepreneur and was the proud owner of Doctor Dust Cleaning Service. Ursalean also had several hobbies she enjoyed including listening to gospel music, cooking and shopping.

Ursalean passed away very unexpectedly and was called home to God at the age of 66 years on Sunday, September 3, 2017. She leaves to mourn her memory her father, Alex Hortman; her daughter, Yolanda Sprewer; her sons, Tramayne J. (Alisha) Harris of St. Louis, Missouri, Samwel Foye III and Ngadah (Tina) Kamanda; her sisters, Sherry Jackson, Donna Jackson, Kim Jackson and Robin (Earnest) Robinson; her grandchildren, Jonathan, Jamarion, Ngadah Jr., Valorie, Tra'Lisha and Tra'yron; her special friend, Sam Foye II; and a host of other family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held for Ursalean on Friday, September 8, 2017, from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM, all at Jelacic Funeral Home, Inc., 5639 West Hampton Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53218. Senior Pastor Chuncey Thompson from Midtown Church of Christ in Racine , Wisconsin officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
