Shirley Mae Boerner

Born February 8, 1930 in Waukesha, Wisconsin, the daughter of Paul Ferks and Della (nee Schall) Ferks, Shirley passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019 in Hartford, Wisconsin at the age of 89 years.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 35 years, Robert Boerner; her loving sister, Laura M. Pallo; and her cherished daughter, Judy Ferks. Shirley was the devoted mother of Terry (Patsy) Boerner, Diane (Jim) Taylor, DeeDe (Steve) Wolfe, Bob (Lynn) Boerner, Lori (Bob) Koeckenberg and Susan (Dave Ludwig) Hebein. She is the fond grandmother of Amy, Jamie, Stan, Shelly, Tammie, Nicole, Ryan, Will, Eddie, Jenny, Jessica, Lori and Ashley and the special sister of Joanne Hetzel. Shirley is further survived by her brother-in-law, Donald Boerner, 23 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Gathering will be held for Shirley on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 4:00pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 6:00pm, all at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Chapel of the Chimes, 13235 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin. Private interment will take place at Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery in Colgate, Wisconsin. 

Mom loved unconditionally and was always there for those in need. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. The family would like to thank Wellington Place at Hartford and their staff for their loving care of mom for the past two years and Seasons Hospice for their guidance and care for mom in her last days.
