S.J. "Steve" Wilson

Born to life December 3, 1934, in Kosciusko, Mississippi, Steve returned home to God on April 3, 2019, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, surrounded by loving family. The son of Houston and Mary Patterson Wilson, Steve graduated from high school and was a proud honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army, serving his country from 1957-1963. Back home in Milwaukee after the mlitary service, Steve worked as a machinist at Vilter Manufacturing for 19 years. Steve was happily married for over 42 years to Corine "Kitty" Singleton Wilson, and God blessed this union with a son, Steven Allen Wilson.

Steve leaves to mourn his passing his dear wife Kitty; son Steven Allen Wilson; grandson Samuri Wilson; brothers William Wilson, Roger Wilson and Terry (Delaphene) Wilson; sisters Sally Patten and Marilyn (Pastor Lee) Shaw; nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held for Steve on Saturday, April 13, 2019, from 12:00 Noon until the time of the Memorial Service at 1:00pm, all at St. Gabriel's Church of God In Christ, 5363 North 37th Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53209 (phone: 414-795-6397), Pastor Lee Shaw presiding. May he rest in peace.
