Found peace at her home in Iola, Wisconsin, on June 7, 2018 at the age of 93 years. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Gottfried and Eva Elizabeth (nee Reich) Ries, Ruth was the loving wife of the late Richard A. Anderson, and the beloved mother of Richard Anderson, Judith Gollmowski, Thomas Anderson and Howard (Beverly) Anderson. She was the fond sister of Reinhardt Ries and is further survived by 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held for Ruth on Friday, June 15, 2018, from 10:00am until the time of services at 12:00 Noon, all at Jelacic Funeral Home, Inc., 5639 West Hampton Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53218. Interment next to her husband will follow at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin, Wisconsin.
