Melvin (Michael) Wierzbicki, OFM

Age 92 years.  Born to eternal life November 21, 2019.

Michael was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on August 4, 1927, to Michael and Louise (née Walczak) Wierzbicki and baptized at St. Casimir Church on August 14th of that same year.

Michael went to St. Barbara Elementary Grade School, Milwaukee, WI, graduating in 1941.  The following year he entered St. Bonaventure Minor Seminary High School 1941-45.  After high school, Michael entered the Novitiate of the Assumption BVM Province, Pulaski, WI. receiving the name, Melvin.   He made solemn profession on June 26, 1949 and was ordained a priest on June 11, 1953.

He is predeceased in death by his parents, Michael & Louise and the following siblings:

Sr. Lucina (Rose Marie ) Wierzbicki, Rita Louise (Wierzbicki) Elliott, Eugene Wierzbicki, Charlette (Wierzbicki) Smyth.

Condolences to his two living siblings; Lois (Wierzbicki) Mueller and Thomas Willow.

Visitation Monday, November 25, 2019 at St. Anne Salvatorian Campus Chapel , 3800 N. 92nd Street, Milwaukee from 9:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM.  Interment Provincial Cemetery, Pulaski, Wisconsin.
