Raymond R. Gehrke

Age 95 years.  Born to life June 16, 1923 in Hurley, Wisconsin the son of Rhinehart and Rose Gehrke.  Born to eternal life February 1, 2019 at Linden Grove Care Center in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin,  Preceded in death by his wife Lucille.  Beloved father of Marilyn and Allan Gehrke.  Brother of Carl (Jean) Gehrke.  Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Jelacic Funeral Home, 5639 West Hampton Avenue, Milwaukee from 9:30 AM until Services at 11:00 AM.  Interment with military honors at Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee following services.

Raymond was a proud US Army WWII veteran who served in Normandy, Northern France, the Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe.   He also was a truck driver for the City of Milwaukee for 29 years.
