Quincy Scaggs Obituary

Quincy T. Scaggs

Born April 27, 1971, transitioned from this earthly plain into the Heavens August 30, 2019.

Quincy, or "Q", was a beloved son, partner, and friend. His smile, wit, and laughter were enjoyed by all whose lives he touched. Born to Scarlet (Scaggs) Fayne, he was a graduate of both Marquette High School and University. Being a dedicated family man, he was always there to uplift anyone and everyone in need of support. He was adored by many for his ability to lighten a mood or be the life of the party. Quincy was the kindhearted person you knew could ease your troubles in a moment. He surrounded himself and others with music and could always reference a song lyric that was perfect for the conversation. His ability to bring joy, honesty, and perspective into any situation will be greatly missed. It was Q's Super-Power.

He is survived by his partner, Patrick May; mother, Scarlet; brother, Zien Scaggs (Tracee Mills-Scaggs); and a host of friends and loved ones.
