Mae Northcutte Obituary

Mae Ella Northcutte

Mae Ella (Boyd) Warren Northcutte was born December 26, 1927, to the parents of Jesse and Ella Boyd in East St. Louis, Illinois.  Later her parents relocated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin while she was very young.

Mae received her education within the Milwaukee Public School System at Lincoln High School.  Mae confessed her life to Christ at an early age.  She was an active member at Christ Temple COGIC and then later joined Little Community COGIC.

She was united in Holy Matrimony in 1946 to James Warren, Jr. and into this union, five beautiful daughters were born.

She was a busy homemaker raising five daughters.  She was an excellent hair dresser, cook and baker.  She enjoyed reading, listening to music and playing cards.  She also loved to crochet and watch her favorite TV shows.  She started her employment as her children were older at Sangor Drug Store on North Avenue, American Linen and she retired from "Pill N Puff" retail store as a Supervisor.  She also loved playing jigsaw puzzles and exercising, walking the hallways 3 times per day, after each meal up until her recent decline.  She cherished watching and caring for her grandchildren.

Later in life she married her high school sweetheart, Charlie Lee Northcutte.

Mae Ella departed this life on July 26, 2019 at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital, Center for Advanced Care.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Ella Boyd; sisters and brothers (Elizabeth Hood, Cornelius Boyd, Sally Miller, Jesse Brown and Charlie Boyd).

Mae Ella leaves to cherish her memories: daughters: Cassandria (Mark) Thomas, Carolyn Warren (California), Rachel Morgan, Janice Warren and Diane Warren all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and sister Viola Atkins, of Wisconsin.  She has six grandchildren Tasha (Tony) Sledge, Eric (Athena) Thomas, Ama (Devon) Benjamin, Kevin (Yolanda) Thomas, Antwan Warren, and Theresa (Jerry) Rideout, thirteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
