John  David Knoebel

Of Dousman, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at the age of 86 years. John was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin, the son of the late Frank and the late Mary Knoebel. On November 4, 1950, John married Shirley Mae Teschner, who preceded him in death in 2013. John was the former president/secretary-treasurer of Teamsters Local 695. He proudly served on both the Wisconsin Health and Welfare Board and on the Central States Pension Board.

John was blessed with many relatives and friends. He is survived by his five loving children: Joan (Michael Cullenward) Knoebel of Madison, Wisconsin, Paul (Barb) Knoebel of Hartford, Wisconsin, Tom Knoebel (Jim Kinas) of Port Orchard, Washington, Phillip (Mary) Kneobel of Hartland, Wisconsin, and Christine (Robert) Porter of Waukesha, Wisconsin; his ten cherished grandchildren: Danny Cullenward, Laurie Cullenward, Kelly (Kyle) Anderson, John P. (Ashley) Knoebel, Matthew (Jamie) Knoebel, Alex (Andrea) Knoebel, Margaret Knoebel, Phillip (PJ) Knoebel, Grace Knoebel and Ashley Porter; his dearest eight great-grandchildren: Harper Anderson, Caleb Anderson, Hazel Anderson, Jackson Knoebel, Lucas Knoebel, Payton Knoebel, William Knoebel and Gabriel Porter; and his fond brother-in-law, Ted Knapp. He was also preceded in death by his beloved sisters, Eleanor Knapp and Mary Komberec and her husband, James Komberec.

There will be a visitation held for John on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, from 9:30am until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11am, all at St. Paul Catholic Church, S38 W31602 Highway D (Wern Way), Genesee Depot, Wisconsin 53189. John will be entombed next to his wife Shirley at St. Joseph Cemetery in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
