Helen Josephine Hrobar
Age 90 years. Born March 15, 1927 in Milwaukee the daughter of Stephan Mihal and Julia Sramek Mihal. Born to eternal life February 10, 2018 at St. Anne's Salvatorian Campus in Milwaukee surrounded by her loving family. Preceded in death in 2015 by her beloved husband of 67 years John J. Hrobar. Dear mother of John (Susan), Ronald (Kim) and Donald (Susan) Hrobar. Loving grandmother of Jessica (Brian) Thayer, Julie (Brad) Demiem, Tanya Warner, John Witherspoon, Daniel and Andrew Hrobar. Fond great grandmother of Audrey Rose, Sara, Ethan, Gavin, Ryker, and Anna Quinn. Sister of Julie Mushall, Steve (Bonnie) Mihal, Marlene (Melvin) Bolter, and Richard (Georgette) Mihal. Further survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation Monday, February 19 at St. Anne's Salvatorian Campus Chapel 3800 North 92nd Street from 9:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Entombment to follow the services at Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee.
Helen attended Girl's Tech High School and graduated as her class valedictorian. She and her husband John were longtime residents of " Piggsville". She enjoyed the outdoors; fishing, camping and swimming. Helen was a member of the Slovak Historical Society, St. Rose of Lima Parish, and later Sacred Heart Parish.
