Francis Charles Mary O'Dwyer "Frank"

Born in Dublin, Ireland, on June 11, 1948, the son of the late Daniel J. O'Dwyer and the late Eleanor (nee Hughes) O'Dwyer, Frank died very suddenly on November 8, 2018, at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Mequon, Wisconsin, at the age of 70 years. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Patricia "Patti" (nee Hack) O'Dwyer; he and Patti's children, Aislinn O'Dwyer and Daniel O'Dwyer; his children with his first wife Irene Cox, Aedin (nee O'Dwyer) McNeill, Aine O'Dwyer and Caitriona (nee O'Dwyer) Quinn; his sister, Cora Stinton; his niece Petra Curtis and nephew Mark Stinton; and many other relatives and devoted friends. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his son Eoin O'Dwyer.

Frank was a retired pharmacist, the founder and former owner of O'Dwyer's Pharmacy in Ballincollig, Ireland. He met Patti in his capacity as Chairman of the Irish Retail Pharmacy Association and was a beloved stay-at-home Dad to Aislinn and Daniel in Fox Point, Wisconsin. He kept active outside the home as the Gaelicweb owner and webmaster, and he served his community as the Chief Election Inspector for the Village of Fox Point, Wisconsin. Frank also worked as an Irish Travel Specialist and Tour Guide for Slainte Travel Groups and as an Irish Scouting Master. He was an active parish member at St. Eugene Catholic Church in Fox Point, Wisconsin, serving as a Eucharistic Minister, Cantor and Choir member. Because of his wonderful singing voice, Frank was an Irish Tenor in the Irishfest Choir and he performed as an actor in local theater groups.  

Visitation for Frank will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018, from 9:30am until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am, all at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 7600 North Port Washington Road, Fox Point, Wisconsin 53217. Please remember his family in your prayers.
