Don Boeck
Age 85 years, Born to Eternal Life October 24, 2017 at Clement Manor in Greenfield, Wisconsin. Don was the beloved husband of Betty (nee Schumacher) Boeck for over 64 years and the loving father of the late Dave (Beth) Boeck, Dan (Laura) Boeck, Dennis (Loretta) Boeck, Dale (Janice) Boeck, Dean (Becky) Boeck, Debbie (Dick) Offutt and Darrell (Jill) Boeck. He was also the proud grandfather of Jason (Kendra), Susan (Alex), Joe, Matt (Sara), Andrew, Lauren (Jereme), Sara (Craig), Brandon (Anna), Stephanie, Bradley, Adam and Brady and the devoted great-grandfather of Aiden, Emma, Eli, Maggie, Reagan, Charlotte and Marianne; as well as being survived by other relatives an friends.
Don worked for many years as an accountant, most notably at Schwerman Trucking Company. He was active in the Knights of Columbus, being a past grand knight and founding member of the Knights of Columbus chapter in Russellville, Kentucky. Don also was a past treasurer in the following organizations during his lifetime: the Polka Club, the W.A. Wood Workers, the Bicycle Club, and the Barber Shoppers. He was a Korean War U.S Army veteran and he is a past Stars and Stripes Honor Flight participant.
Visitation will be held for Don on Saturday, October 28, 2017, from 10:00am until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 Noon, all at Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 2322 South 106th Street, West Allis, Wisconsin, military honors to follow. Private interment will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union, Grove, Wisconsin.
