Charles Shimek "Chuck"

Age 75 years. Joined in eternal life with his beloved wife, Jeanette, on November 24, 2018. Wonderful father of Marion (Thomas) Reiter and Michael Shimek. Adored Papa of Sarah (Neil) Fortier and Katherine (Travis Murphy) Reiter. Great-Papa Chuck to Leland and Eli Fortier. Brother to Scott (Mary) Shimek and Claudia Wolfe. Brother-in-law of Arlene (Carl) Callahan and Rose Van Caster. Preceded in death by his sister Patricia Couillard, brother Thomas Shimek and brother-in-law Edward "Big Ed" Van Caster.

Chuck fought a courageous and tough ten year battle against lung cancer until the very end.

Private service for immediate family member will be held.
