Asher Robert Hau
Born to life on September 18, 2017, Asher passed away peacefully at home on July 1, 2019. Mr. Guy was the loved son of Kelsey Hau and grandson of Chris and Bob Hau. He is further survived by his aunts and uncles, Ashlie, Alyson, Kaitie (Curtis) Borri, Meaghan, Caroline, Dae'Von and A'Amont. Asher is also survived and loved by his great-grandparents, Rose and Jim Hooyman and Gloria Hau, many cousins, great aunts and uncles, and a whole community of friends and family who have always been betting on Asher. Asher is preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Tom Hau.
Services for Asher will be held on Friday, July 5, 2019. Visitation will start at 9:30a.m. at Church of the Gesu in Milwaukee with Mass beginning at 10:00a.m. Immediately following mass, we will proceed to Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Cudahy for his burial. A gathering will follow at Good City Brewing - Downtown to celebrate Asher's life. Please wear bright colors to commemorate the light that Asher brought to all of us and consider bringing a book to donate to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in Asher's memory.
The Hau Family would like to thank Children's Hospital of Wisconsin for caring for our sweet boy throughout his entire life, especially our Special Needs Program team, Kathryn, Kimberly, and JoShara; the entire Neurosciences team; Asher's physical and occupational therapists, Katy and Jenna; his pediatrician, Dr. Paley; and all our nurses, as well as Asher's Teacher for the Visually Impaired from Vision Forward, Collen. We would also like to thank Seasons Hospice for supporting us in keeping him comfortable and at home.
