Anne Palmer-Kriewaldt Obituary

Anne Ruth Palmer-Kriewaldt

Anne was born in Covington, Tennessee on January 4, 1945, to the union of James Walter Palmer and Anna Lee Taylor. After her mother passed, Anne moved to Milwaukee when she was nine years old. While living in Milwaukee, Anne attended North Division High School and also took various classes at Milwaukee Area Technical College.

On September 25, 1985, Anne was joined in holy matrimony with Mr. Louis Kriewaldt of Clintonville, Wisconsin. They were happily together for over 23 years, until Louis' passing in 2008.

Anne was a vibrant, outgoing, free spirited mother, sister, grandmother and friend who loved the company of people from all walks of life. An avid sports fan, Anne could always give you the latest news and her opinions on everything involving her favorite sports stars in tennis (Serena and Venus Williams) and golf (Tiger Woods). She also enjoyed reading, working in her yard, hunting, fishing and all Wisconsin sports, especially her beloved Green Bay Packers. She loved watching TV, especially her favorite show, Game of Thrones, which she discussed frequently with her sister, Mary. Anne was always up to date with the latest news on CNN or MSNBC. Some of her favorite movies were The Color Purple, The Godfather and The Avengers, which she would enjoy watching with popcorn. Anne was excellent at shooting pool and she participated in leagues and tournaments spanning well over 50 plus years. She was family oriented, you could never have a conversation with her without her mentioning the love she had for her children and grandchildren, who she adored above all things.

Annie "Anne" Ruth Palmer Kriewaldt entered into eternal life on Saturday, October 5, 2019 in Merrillville, Indiana at Methodist Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Kriewalt; her daughter, Lisa Palmer; her granddaughter, Eden Michelle Palmer; her parents, James Palmer and Anna Lee Taylor; her stepmother, Addie Palmer; and her brother, Gerald Molton.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving sons, Shaun Palmer and Terry (Kimberly) Palmer; her adored grandchildren, Shaunay Palmer, Joshaun Palmer, Tessence Pearson, Helen Kriewaldt, Jeff Kriewaldt, Mark Kriewaldt, and Elizabeth Iwen (Erich) Anthony Kriewaldt; her fond siblings, Shirley Wright, Clayton (Joan) Palmer, Mary Thompson, Roy (Shannon) Palmer, Linda Palmer, Nadine (Joseph) Simmons, Cleo Olive, Jackie Molton, Sharon Fowler, Darryl (Ramona) Molton, and Rodney Molton; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
