Andrew Joseph Polomis

Died suddenly on Monday, February 4, 2019 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the age of 46 years. Born in Escanaba, Michigan, he was the son of Norman Polomis and Alice (nee Breclaw) Polomis. Andy attended James Madison High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and after graduation, he continued his studies at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin and at Milwaukee Area Technical College. He completed Milwaukee Business Training Institute's business computer programing certification in 1996. Andy was employed at this time of death by Community Care, Inc. as a Data Warehouse Developer.

Andy enjoyed cycling, kayaking, swimming and hiking. He was an expert gardener and loved to travel. Andy was loved for his sense of humor, generosity, and kind heart. He was beloved by his nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers.

He is survived by his brothers, Taylor Polomis (Nancy) of Edina, Minnesota and David Polomis (Krista) of Minocqua, Wisconsin, and his sister, Julie Nguyen (Kurt) of Leesburg, Virginia, and five nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Norman and his mother, Alice.

Andy's memorial Celebration of Life will be held at Jelacic Funeral Home, Inc. 5639 West Hampton Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Sunday February 17, 2019. The Memorial Gathering will be held from 10:00AM until 11:00am, and a brief ceremony will be held from 11:00am until 11:30AM. Please plan on attending and sharing your favorite Andy story.
